أبحاث علمية: البشر في جبال الأرجنتين طوروا قدرات جينية غير عادية

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

طور سكان جبال الأنديز في الأرجنتين قدرات جينية استثنائية تمكنهم من معالجة مادة الزرنيخ السامة في أجسامهم.
أظهرت الأبحاث أن هؤلاء السكان يمتلكون متغيراً جينياً في الجين المعروف بـ (AS3MT) يحميهم من مخاطر التسمم.
تعتمد بلدة سان أنطونيو دي لوس كوبريس على مياه تحتوي على مستويات عالية من الزرنيخ تفوق الحدود المسموح بها عالمياً.
أثبتت التحاليل الجينية أن هذه المتغيرات الجينية أكثر شيوعاً لدى سكان المنطقة مقارنة بمجموعات سكانية أخرى في أمريكا الجنوبية.
