«أفواج الفرسان» في الذاكرة العراقية: حين حاربت الدولة الأكراد بالأكراد

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

  • شكلت تشكيلات أفواج الفرسان وجحافل الدفاع الوطني قوات كردية مسلحة دعمت الحكومة العراقية في مواجهة الحركة الكردية.
  • استثمرت الدولة العراقية الانقسامات العشائرية والولاءات المحلية لتعزيز أمنها عبر تقديم المال والسلاح والصفة الرسمية لهذه القوات.
  • تنوعت تسميات هذه القوات عبر مراحل تاريخية مختلفة شملت فرسان صلاح الدين والأفواج الخفيفة وجحافل الدفاع الوطني.
  • انتقلت أجزاء واسعة من هذه القوات إلى المعسكر الكردي في عام 1991 بعد إعلان الجبهة الكردستانية العفو عنهم.
