أكوا السعودية توقع اتفاقية لتطوير أول منشأة لتحلية المياه بإندونيسيا

وقعت شركة أكوا السعودية اتفاقية تطوير مشترك مع مؤسسة PT GARAM الإندونيسية بهدف تطوير أول منشأة متكاملة لتحلية مياه البحر وإنتاج الملح الصناعي في إندونيسيا بقيمة 400 مليون دولار.

وسينتج المشروع نحو 62,500 متر مكعب من المياه المحلاة يومياً ونحو 500 ألف طن من الملح الصناعي عالي النقاء سنوياً.

تعزّز الاتفاقية أمن المياه وإنتاج الملح الصناعي في إندونيسيا عبر منشأة متكاملة في مانيار ضمن منطقة غريسيك في جاوة الشرقية.

وتستورد إندونيسيا حالياً أكثر من 4 ملايين طن من الملح الصناعي سنوياً، ومن المتوقّع أن يرتفع الطلب إلى أكثر من 7.7 مليون طن بحلول عام 2028.

ويهدف مشروع غريسيك عبر استخلاص الملح عالي النقاء كمنتج ثانوي لعملية تحلية المياه وإدارة المحلول الملحي إلى زيادة إمدادات الملح المحلية مع توفير مصدر موثوق للمياه المحلاة للاستخدام الصناعي. كما يتيح المشروع، رهناً بالجدوى التجارية، إمكانية استخلاص معادن بحريّة إضافية من العملية نفسها.
