أمريكا | وزير الخزانة: تشريع أمريكي يدرس وضع ترامب على الورقة النقدية من فئة 250 دولارًا

أعلن وزير الخزانة الأمريكي سكوت بيسنت، خلال إحاطة إعلامية في البيت الأبيض، عن وجود تشريع مقترح أمام مجلسي النواب والشيوخ لتعديل القوانين المنظمة للعملة الأمريكية، بهدف السماح بوضع صورة الرئيس دونالد ترامب على ورقة نقدية جديدة من فئة 250 دولارًا.

وأوضح بيسنت ردًا على سؤال صحفي، أن “القوانين الحالية تمنع وضع صور أي شخص على قيد الحياة على العملة الأمريكية، وتلزم تضمين عبارة “في الله نثق”.

وأشار إلى أن “التشريع المقترح يهدف إلى تغيير الشرط الأول فقط، مما سيتيح وضع صورة ترامب الذي لا يزال على قيد الحياة، مضيفًا أن القرار النهائي “بيد الكابيتول هيل”.
