أهالي بورنيو يقاضون الحكومة لإجبارها على كبح جماح حرائق الغابات

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

  • رفع سكان مقاطعة بونتيانتان دعوى قضائية ضد الحكومة الإندونيسية بسبب الإهمال في مكافحة حرائق الغابات.
  • تسبب الدخان الكثيف الناتج عن الحرائق في إصابة الآلاف بأمراض تنفسية وتعطيل الحياة اليومية منذ أشهر.
  • يطالب المدعون بإعلان حالة طوارئ وطنية وتوفير رعاية صحية مجانية وتعويضات للعائلات المتضررة من الأزمة.
  • أرجع خبراء أسباب الحرائق إلى ممارسات القطع والحرق لإزالة الغابات وتأثرها بظاهرة النينيو التي زادت من حدة الجفاف.

ناشد أهالي جزيرة بورنيو الإندونيسية الحكومة ببذل مزيد من الجهود لمكافحة حرائق الغابات، وذلك بالتزامن مع بدء محكمة في بونتياناك للاستماع إلى المرافعات بشأن قانونية دعوى قضائية رفعها السكان ضد الدولة.
