أوكسفام: أغنى أثرياء العالم يحققون أرباحًا من التلوث المناخي والكوارث الناجمة عنه

يحقق أغنى 0.1% من سكان العالم أرباحا مزدوجة من الأنشطة الملوثة ومن الاستثمار في قطاعات الاستعداد للكوارث وإعادة الإعمار.
تستثمر هذه الفئة في سوق التعافي من الكوارث المتوقع نموها إلى 92 مليار دولار سنويا بحلول عام 2029.
تساهم انبعاثات الأثرياء في زيادة عدم المساواة العالمية حيث تتحمل الفئات الأقل مسؤولية عن التلوث عواقبها الكارثية.
تطالب منظمة أوكسفام بفرض ضرائب أعلى على الأثرياء والشركات الملوثة والحد من نفوذهم السياسي لضمان التحرك المناخي.
