إجراءات أميركية جديدة لدعم المصافي وزيادة إنتاج الوقود

تعتزم الولايات المتحدة الأميركية الإعلان خلال أيام عن إجراءات جديدة لدعم المصافي وزيادة إنتاج الوقود في إطار جهود خفض أسعار البنزين.

وقال وزير الطاقة الأميركي كريس رايت -Chris Wright إن المصافي الأميركية تعمل بالفعل عند مستويات قياسية، بينما لا تزال بعض مصافي الشرق الأوسط تعمل بأقل من طاقتها في ظل تداعيات الحرب مع إيران.

وتراجعت مخزونات النفط الخام في الاحتياطي الاستراتيجي الأميركي بنحو 5.3 مليون برميل لتسجل 293.4 مليون برميل الأسبوع الماضي في أدنى مستوى لها منذ ديسمبر عام 1982.

ويأتي السحب في إطار موافقة أميركية على الإفراج عن 172 مليون برميل من الاحتياطي، وذلك لتخفيف التداعيات المصاحبة للحرب مع إيران.

وحذر خبراء طاقة من أن السحب المكثف من الاحتياطي النفطي الاستراتيجي الأميركي استجابة للتداعيات الناجمة عن الحرب مع إيران قد يعرض الكهوف الملحية التي تخزن الخام لأضرار هيكلية، في وقت هبطت فيه المخزونات إلى أدنى مستوياتها منذ أوائل الثمانينيات.
