“افرضوا الضرائب على الأثرياء، أو ستندمون” – مقال في ميرور

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

تواجه الحكومة البريطانية ضغوطاً لفرض ضرائب إضافية على الأثرياء لتخفيف أعباء المعيشة عن الطبقات المتوسطة.
تحذر نقابات العمال من أن عدم فرض ضرائب على الأثرياء والبنوك سيعد خطأً كبيراً في ظل ارتفاع التكاليف.
تدرس وزارة الخزانة زيادة الرسوم على أرباح البنوك بينما استبعدت زيادة ضريبة الأرباح الرأسمالية خوفاً من مغادرة الأثرياء للبلاد.
تدرس الحكومة إمكانية إلغاء الرسوم الثابتة على فواتير الغاز لتخفيف الأعباء عن الأسر المتضررة من ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة.

في جولة الصحافة نتناول دعوات في بريطانيا لفرض ضرائب إضافية على الأثرياء، وانتقادات للغة التي يستخدمها البيت الأبيض تجاه ذوي الإعاقة، وظاهرة “القراءة بدافع الكراهية” التي تدفع البعض إلى قراءة كتب يتوقعون ألا تعجبهم.
