الآلاف يحتشدون في العاصمة الإسبانية احتجاجاً على ارتفاع تكاليف الإسكان

احتشد الآلاف في وسط العاصمة الإسبانية مدريد اليوم الأحد للاحتجاج على ارتفاع تكاليف الإسكان، مما أدى لخروج الكثير من الإسبان من سوق الإسكان على الرغم من الانتعاش الاقتصادي الأخير، خاصة في مدن مثل العاصمة وبرشلونة.

وتعد أزمة الإسكان في إسبانيا من أبرز نقاط الضعف السياسية لرئيس الوزراء بيدرو سانشيز قبل الانتخابات المقررة عام 2027.

ويقول المحللون إن إسبانيا تتمسك بتقاليد راسخة فيما يتعلق بملكية المنازل ونقص في العقارات المتاحة للإيجار، في حين ارتفعت الإيجارات نتيجة زيادة الطلب بسبب السياحة ونمو السكان المرتبط بالهجرة، وفقا لوكالة الأنباء الألمانية.

وردد المتظاهرون شعارات وحملوا لافتات تبرز حقهم في الإسكان.

وقد أصبح الكثيرون لا يتحملون تكلفة شراء منزل في إسبانيا، حيث يؤدي ضغط الأسواق والتكهنات لرفع الأسعار، خاصة في المدن الكبرى والمناطق الساحلية.

ويذكر أن الحكومة الإسبانية مررت الشهر الماضي خطة بقيمة 7 مليارات يورو (8.23 مليار دولار)، لبناء المزيد من أماكن السكن العامة على مدار الأربعة أعوام المقبلة، وتقديم مساعدة للمستأجرين من الشباب ومشتري المنازل، الذين ضمن الأكثر تضرراً من ارتفاع أسعار الإيجارات والسكن.
