الاتحاد الأوروبي يقر قواعد جديدة للحد من ارتفاع أسعار الوقود والتدفئة

وافق مفاوضوا الاتحاد الأوروبي على إصلاح نظام تداول الانبعاثات داخل التكتل للحيلولة دون ارتفاع الأسعار بشكل حاد على المستهلكين عند محطات التزود بالوقود ولتدفئة المنازل.

واتفق المفاوضون من دول الاتحاد الأوروبي الأعضاء والبرلمان الأوروبي على الاحتفاظ بمخزون من شهادات الانبعاثات لفترة أطول والإفراج عن المزيد من الشهادات في السوق عندما ترتفع الأسعار بشكل حاد.

النفط يعود للتراجع رغم إغلاق إيران مضيق هرمز وتصعيد ترامب

ويُطلب من شركات معينة شراء مثل تلك الشهادات لتغطية انبعاثاتها من الغازات المضرة بالمناخ مثل ثاني أكسيد الكربون.

يُشار إلى أن نظام تداول الانبعاثات داخل الاتحاد الأوروبي آلية مهمة لمكافحة التغير المناخي، وهي قد أُنشئت في 2005.

وابتداءً من 2028، سوف يتم تضمين الوقود مثل البترول والغاز الطبيعي في النظام الأوروبي. وحينها سوف يؤثر سعر الشهادات بشكل غير مباشر على تكلفة زيت التدفئة والغاز الطبيعي والديزل والبنزين. وحتى الآن جرى تطبيق النظام على توليد الطاقة والقطاع الصناعي.
