الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة تصوّت لصالح رفع العقوبات عن كوبا بزيادة ملحوظة للمعارضين والممتنعين

أيدت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة قراراً بإنهاء الحظر الاقتصادي والتجاري والمالي الذي تفرضه الولايات المتحدة على كوبا.
حظي القرار بأضعف تأييد له منذ عقدين حيث سجل 130 صوتاً مؤيداً مقابل 17 معارضاً و25 ممتنعاً.
أكد وزير الخارجية الكوبي أن الحصار تسبب في خسائر مادية كبيرة وأضر بالنظام الصحي وأدوية السرطان.
رفض السفير الأمريكي أساس النقاش مؤكداً أن المشكلات في كوبا تنبع من حكومتها وأن صادرات الولايات المتحدة للجزيرة مستمرة.
