الحرب تقضي على الغطاء النباتي في الخرطوم ودعوات لخطة إنقاذ عاجلة

الخرطوم 13 يوليو 2026- يُعد تدهور الغطاء النباتي في ولاية الخرطوم أحد أبرز الآثار البيئية للحرب المستمرة في السودان، وسط تحذيرات خبراء من أن استمرار إزالة الأشجار وتراجع المساحات الخضراء قد يقود إلى تسارع التصحر وارتفاع درجات الحرارة وتدهور الأمن الغذائي، في وقت بدأت السلطات تنفيذ برنامج محدود لاستعادة المراعي والغابات. وتسببت الحرب التي اندلعت في أبريل 2023 بدمار واسع طال الموارد الطبيعية والبنية البيئية في العاصمة، إذ تعرضت حدائق عامة ومتنزهات وغابات تاريخية لأضرار كبيرة نتيجة العمليات العسكرية والاحتطاب الجائر وغياب أعمال الصيانة والحماية. وتشير تقديرات بيئية إلى أن تراجع الغطاء النباتي ينعكس مباشرة على زيادة العواصف الترابية، وانخفاض قدرة التربة على الاحتفاظ بالمياه، وتراجع التنوع الحيوي، فضلاً عن ارتفاع درجات الحرارة داخل المدن نتيجة فقدان الأشجار التي تمثل مصدات طبيعية للرياح ومصدراً لتلطيف المناخ. وفي محاولة للحد من تلك التداعيات، شرعت الإدارة العامة للمراعي والغابات بوزارة الزراعة والثروة الحيوانية والري بولاية الخرطوم، بالتنسيق مع مشروع استدامة الموارد الطبيعية وسبل كسب العيش، مؤخراً في تنفيذ برنامج لنثر بذور المراعي والغابات بعدد من القرى في محليتي أم درمان وشرق النيل. ومن المقرر نثر نحو 2.5 طن من البذور المحسنة على مساحة تبلغ 1250 فداناً، بهدف استعادة الغطاء النباتي، وتحسين المراعي الطبيعية، وزيادة الكتلة الحيوية، بما يدعم الثروة الحيوانية ويسهم في …
