الخطوط الجوية البريطانية تعتزم رفع أسعار رحلاتها مع زيادة أسعار الوقود

تعتزم شركة الخطوط الجوية البريطانية "بريتش إيروايز" زيادة أسعار رحلاتها في ظل زيادة أسعار الوقود بسبب استمرار الصراع في الشرق الأوسط.

ونقلت وكالة بلومبرغ للأنباء عن المدير التنفيذي للشركة شون دويلي القول للصحافيين خلال الاجتماع العام السنوي للاتحاد الدولي للنقل الجوي: "شركة مثل بريتش إيروايز، التي تقوم بتسيير الكثير من الرحلات طويلة المسافة والرحلات الخاصة بالشركات والكثير من الرحلات المميزة، نتوقع ربما أن تكون لديها قدرة أكبر على تمرير الأسعار مقارنة ربما بشركة تنافس فقط على الرحلات الترفيهية قصيرة المسافة".

وتعتزم شركة "آي إيه جي إس إيه"، التي تمتلك "بريتش إيروايز"، تعويض 60% من تكاليف الوقود من خلال الإيرادات والادخار، حسبما قالت أثناء الإعلان عن الإيرادات الشهر الماضي.

وقالت الشركة إنها ستدفع نحو ملياري يورو "2.03 مليار دولار" إضافية من أجل الوقود هذا العام بسبب الحرب في الشرق الأوسط.

ويشار إلى أن شركات الطيران في أنحاء العالم تعاني من ارتفاع تكاليف الوقود بسبب الحرب في إيران وإغلاق مضيق هرمز.
