أشار مقال في صحيفة الغارديان إلى تراجع سلطة دونالد ترامب وضعفه على الصعيدين الدولي والمحلي بعد هزيمته الانتخابية.
أثارت الهزيمة آمالاً لدى الإيرانيين والأوكرانيين والأوروبيين في كبح سياسات ترامب المتطرفة وتعديل مسارات الصراع مع روسيا وإيران.
يواجه ترامب تحديات في ملفات الأزمة النووية الإيرانية، والعلاقات مع روسيا، ومستقبل التحالفات مع أوروبا وكندا.
رغم تراجع تأثيره، قد يواصل ترامب القيام بتجاوزات رئاسية ومغامرات عسكرية خارجية حتى نهاية ولايته في عام 2028.
