المحكمة العليا الأمريكية ترفض طلبا لإدارة ترامب بإلغاء بطاقات اقتراع في كاليفورنيا

  • رفضت المحكمة العليا الأمريكية طلب إدارة ترامب لإلغاء بطاقات اقتراع بالبريد لأكثر من 20 ألف شخص في كاليفورنيا.
  • جاء الرفض بسبب شكوك حول جنسية هؤلاء الأشخاص قبل يوم واحد من انتخابات التجديد النصفي.
  • رفض قاضي فدرالي في ألاسكا طلباً مماثلاً لتعليق المصادقة على نتائج انتخابات مجلس الشيوخ في الولاية.
  • اتهمت الحكومة الفدرالية ولاية كاليفورنيا بإدراج أشخاص بصورة غير قانونية في سجلات الناخبين.

قبل يوم من انتخابات التجديد النصفي الأمريكية، تلقت إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترامب انتكاسة قضائية بعدما رفضت المحكمة العليا طلبها إلغاء بطاقات اقتراع بالبريد تخص أكثر من 20 ألف شخص في كاليفورنيا، بدعوى احتمال عدم حملهم الجنسية الأمريكية. وجاء القرار بعد رفض محاكم أدنى درجة الطلب، وانتقادات قضائية لتحركات وزارة العدل، فيما رفض قاض فدرالي في ألاسكا محاولة أخرى للإدارة لتعليق المصادقة على نتائج انتخابات مجلس الشيوخ في الولاية.
