يحتفل العالم باليوم العالمي للمحيطات الذي يندرج هذا العام ضمن هدف اقامة “مناطق بحرية محمية قوية للكوكب الازرق “، ما يؤكد على الدور الحاسم للمناطق البحرية المحمية والنظم الإيكولوجية في الحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي وفي اعتماد الانسان في مستقبله على حماية البحار .
