النجمة جوليا روبرتس تعود إلى الإنتاج والبطولة

تستعد النجمة الحائزة على جائزة الأوسكار جوليا روبرتس للعودة إلى الشاشة الكبيرة من خلال مشروع سينمائي جديد يجمع بين التمثيل والإنتاج، حيث ستتولى بطولة فيلم مقتبس عن رواية “Home Economics” للكاتبة كاتي هايز، وذلك بعد أن حصلت شركة 3000 Pictures التابعة لاستوديوهات Sony على حقوق العمل.

وسيُنفَّذ المشروع بالتعاون مع شركتها الإنتاجية “Red Om Films” التي تشارك في إنتاج الفيلم إلى جانب مارك بلات عبر شركته Marc Platt Productions، فيما تتولى روبرتس الإنتاج إلى جانب شريكتَيها ليزا روبرتس جيلان وماريسا ييريس جيل. كما يشارك في الإنتاج التنفيذي كل من ماريل هيلر وليا هولزر.

الكاتبة كاتي هايز ستتولى بنفسها تكييف الرواية للسينما، مع استمرار العمل على إبقاء تفاصيل القصة في طي الكتمان، إذ لم يتم الكشف عن حبكة الفيلم حتى الآن.

الرواية، التي دخلت في مزاد نشر تنافسي، استقرت لدى دار Pamela Dorman Books التابعة لـ Penguin Random House، ومن المقرر إصدارها في عام 2027، بعد أن تم بيع حقوقها إلى 11 سوقًا دوليًا.

وقد لعب فريق Sony الأدبي دورًا رئيسيًا في إتمام الصفقة لصالح استوديو 3000 Pictures، حيث ستشرف كل من إليزابيث غابلر وآيسليند دونستر على المشروع داخل الشركة.

يُذكر أن جوليا روبرتس ظهرت مؤخرًا في فيلم “After the Hunt” من إنتاج Amazon MGM Studios، كما تستعد لعمل جديد بعنوان “Panic Carefully” لصالح Warner Bros. أما الكاتبة كاتي هايز فهي من الأكثر مبيعًا في قائمة نيويورك تايمز، وسبق لها إصدار رواية “The Cloister” إضافة إلى كتابها “Saltwater” المدرج حاليًا ضمن قائمة الأكثر مبيعًا.
