الوظائف الشاغرة في بريطانيا تهبط لأدنى مستوى منذ أكثر من 5 سنوات

انخفضت الوظائف الشاغرة في المملكة المتحدة لأدنى مستوى منذ أكثر من خمسة أعوام، حيث قلصت الشركات من عمليات التوظيف في ظل الغموض الاقتصادي وارتفاع تكاليف الأجور.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء البريطانية (بي ايه ميديا) أن مكتب الإحصاء الوطني قال إن الوظائف الشاغرة تراجعت بواقع 19 ألف وظيفة على أساس ربعي لتصل إلى 707 آلاف خلال ثلاثة أشهر حتى مايو/أيار الماضي، فيما يعد أدنى مستوى منذ ثلاثة أشهر حتى أبريل/نيسان 2021.

وأظهرت أحدث بيانات انخفاض معدل البطالة إلى 4.9% خلال ثلاثة أشهر حتى أبريل/نيسان الماضي، مقارنة ب 5% خلال ثلاثة أشهر حتى مارس/آذار الماضي.

ولم تتغير نسبة نمو الأجور وسجلت 3.4% خلال ثلاثة أشهر حتى أبريل/نيسان الماضي.

وتأتي هذه البيانات قبل أن يعلن بنك إنجلترا قرار معدل الفائدة اليوم الخميس، حيث من المتوقع بصورة كبيرة أن يبقي صانعو السياسات على معدل الفائدة عند 3.75%.
