اليابان تنفق 73 مليار دولار في شهر لدعم سعر صرف الين

أنفق بنك اليابان نحو 11.7 تريليون ين (73 مليار دولار) في الشهر الماضي لدعم سعر صرف الين، وفق ما أظهرت بيانات رسمية صدرت الجمعة.

ويتدخل البنك المركزي الياباني في السوق بناء على تعليمات وزارة المالية في محاولة لتخفيف الأضرار الاقتصادية الناجمة عن التقلبات الحادة في أسعار الصرف.

وأظهرت البيانات التي نشرتها وزارة المالية أن التدخلات في السوق حدثت بين 28 أبريل/ نيسان و27 مايو/ أيار، لكنها لم تحدد التواريخ الدقيقة وفقاً لوكالة فرانس برس "أ.ف.ب".

وبدأت التدخلات وفق تقارير في 30 أبريل/ نيسان عندما انخفضت قيمة العملة اليابانية إلى ما يقرب من 160 يناً للدولار، وهو أدنى مستوى لها منذ عامين تقريبا.

وذكرت وسائل إعلام يابانية في الثامن من مايو/ أيار أن البنك أنفق بحلول ذلك الوقت 10 تريليونات ين لدعم العملة.

منذ ذلك الحين، شهدت العملة عدة ارتفاعات حادة حتى بداية مايو/ أيار، حين وصلت إلى 155 للدولار في السادس من الشهر، ما أثار تكهنات حول اتخاذ السلطات المزيد من الإجراءات.

وعاد سعر صرف العملة اليابانية إلى نحو 159.2 مقابل الدولار اليوم الجمعة، ما أثار تساؤلات بشأن فعالية تدخلات البنك المركزي.

وتراجع الين نتيجة للارتفاع الأخير في أسعار النفط الناجم عن الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، فضلا عن الفجوة بين معدلات الفائدة الأميركية واليابانية.

وكانت آخر مرة تدخلت فيها السلطات اليابانية في السوق في يوليو/ تموز 2024، عندما اقترب الين من 162 ينا للدولار، وأنفقت حينها نحو 5.5 تريليون ين.
