انتخابات التجديد النصفي: هل تزعزع نفوذ اللوبي الإسرائيلي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية؟

  • تواجه منظمة أيباك، وهي من أقوى جماعات الضغط المؤيدة لإسرائيل، إخفاقات كبيرة في الانتخابات الأمريكية النصفية.
  • فقدت المنظمة مرشحين حظوا بدعمها المالي، أبرزهم في ولاية ميشيغان رغم ضخ أكثر من 30 مليون دولار ضدهم.
  • تمتلك المنظمة أكثر من خمسة ملايين عضو وتستثمر مئات الملايين من الدولارات لدعم حلفائها ومهاجمة معارضيها في السياسة الأمريكية.

نسلط الضوء في “صدى المشرق” على أيباك أو لجنة الشؤون العامة الأمريكية الإسرائيلية، إحدى أبرز وأقوى جماعات الضغط المؤيدة لإسرائيل تأثيرا في دوائر صنع القرار والسياسة الخارجية في الولايات المتحدة. تضم أكثر من خمسة ملايين عضو ومكاتب إقليمية متعددة. أواخر 2021 أطلقت لجنتَها للعمل السياسي وصندوقا للإنفاق المباشر باسم “مشروع الديمقراطية المتحدة” ضخت من خلاله عشرات الملايين من الدولارات في الانتخابات الأمريكية لدعم حلفائها ومهاجمة معارضيها. في عام 2024 أنفقت المنظمة حوالى مئة مليون دولار وأسهمت في إسقاط نواب ديمقراطيين تقدميين انتقدوا السياسات الإسرائيلية، لكن نتائج الانتخابات النصفية الامريكية هذا العام جعلت ايباك تواجه اخفاقات كبيرة إذ خسر مرشحون حظوا بتمويلها ابرزهم في ميشيغان بعد فوز المرشح التقدمي عبدول السيد على الرغم من ضخ المنظمة وحلفائها أكثر من 30 مليون دولار ضده. فهل تزعزع دور ايباك في الولايات المتحدة؟ ضيف البرنامج: من واشنطن الدكتور حسني عبيدي أستاذ العلاقات الدولية في جامعة جنيف.
