ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

  • يصوت قرابة 210 ملايين ناخب أمريكي غدا الثلاثاء في انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس الأمريكي.
  • تستهدف الانتخابات تجديد جميع مقاعد مجلس النواب وثلث مقاعد مجلس الشيوخ وتعد بمثابة استفتاء على سياسات الرئيس.
  • تظهر استطلاعات الرأي ترجيح فوز الديمقراطيين بأغلبية مجلس النواب، بينما لا تزال المنافسة على مجلس الشيوخ غير محسومة.
  • شهدت الحملات الانتخابية إنفاقاً ضخماً وصل إلى 11 مليار دولار، واتسمت بخطاب حاد وتبادل للإهانات بين الطرفين.

يتوجه نحو 210 ملايين أمريكي إلى صناديق الاقتراع في انتخابات التجديد النصفي لحسم السيطرة على الكونغرس، وسط تصويت مبكر قياسي ومنافسة محتدمة في ولايات بعينها قد تشكل تحولا في النصف الثاني من ولاية ترمب.
