  • بدأت السلطات الكينية بالتنسيق مع منظمات دولية بتسجيل أكثر من 50 ألف لاجئ إثيوبي فروا من اشتباكات بلدة مويالي الحدودية.
  • توزع فرق التسجيل أساور تعريفية وتصدر بطاقات مساعدات لتحديد بيانات الأسر وتقييم احتياجاتهم الإنسانية من غذاء ومأوى ورعاية صحية.
  • أدى تدفق اللاجئين إلى زيادة الضغط على الموارد المحلية، مما دفع المنظمات الدولية لمطالبة المجتمع الدولي بتوفير 8.9 مليون دولار لدعم الاستجابة.
  • عززت السلطات الكينية إجراءاتها الأمنية على الحدود بعد تقارير عن وصول رصاص طائش إلى مناطق داخل الأراضي الكينية.

بدأت السلطات الكينية، بالتعاون مع مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشئون اللاجئين وجمعية الصليب الأحمر الكيني، في تسجيل اللاجئين الإثيوبيين الفارين من تجدد الاشتباكات في بلدة “مويالي” الحدودية.
