باكستان تدرس إلغاء الرسوم على السيارات الكهربائية

قال سكرتير وزارة الصناعة والإنتاج الباكستانية، سيف إنجوم، خلال اجتماع للجنة برلمانية في إسلام آباد، إن باكستان تناقش مقترحاً لجعل السيارات الصغيرة أقل تكلفة ودفع المستهلكين لتفضيل اقتناء السيارات الكهربائية.

ونقلت وكالة بلومبرغ للأنباء عن إنجوم القول إن مبيعات السيارات الكهربائية ستواصل الارتفاع عقب أن تم تعزيز إنتاج السيارات والدراجات الكهربائية.

وأضاف أن إنتاج السيارات الكهربائية في باكستان حالياً بلغ 12.8 ألف وحدة هذا العام، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الألمانية “د ب أ”.

وأشار إلى أن النقاش بشأن إلغاء الرسوم يعد جزءاً من سياسة جديدة بشأن السيارات لمدة خمسة أعوام، تخضع للمناقشة حالياً، وسيتم الانتهاء منها خلال الشهر المقبل.
