اصطف أكثر من 6 آلاف زائر من جنسيات مختلفة أمام معبد أبوسمبل لمتابعة ظاهرة تعامد الشمس على وجه الملك رمسيس الثاني.
بدأت أعداد الزوار بألفي شخص عند فتح باب المعبد في الثانية بعد منتصف الليل.
تكرر هذا الحدث الفلكي النادر مرتين سنويا في يومي 22 أكتوبر و22 فبراير.
تعكس هذه الظاهرة براعة المصري القديم في علوم الفلك والهندسة وتجذب اهتماماً عالمياً واسعاً.

اصطف آلاف السائحين والزائرين في طوابير طويلة أمام معبد أبوسمبل جنوب أسوان، لمتابعة ظاهرة تعامد الشمس على وجه الملك رمسيس الثاني، في مشهد يعكس الإقبال السياحي الكبير على المدينة الأثرية لمشاهدة الحدث الفلكي النادر.
