بريطانيا تدعو “إسرائيل” ولبنان إلى احترام وقف إطلاق النار

دعت وزيرة الخارجية البريطانية إيفيت كوبر “إسرائيل” ولبنان إلى احترام وقف إطلاق النار والالتزام به وذلك على خلفية توغل الجيش الإسرائيلي في جنوب لبنان.

يوم الأحد، أعلن وزير الحرب الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، عن “سيطرة الجيش الإسرائيلي على قلعة الشقيف التاريخية في جنوب لبنان”.

وقد تزامن التوغل الإسرائيلي في لبنان مع تصاعد الهجمات الصاروخية التي يشنها حزب الله على البلدات والقرى الإسرائيلية.

وكتبت الوزيرة البريطانية على منصة التواصل Х: “أدى التصعيد العسكري الإسرائيلي في لبنان إلى مقتل وتشريد المدنيين، وتدمير البنية التحتية، وتقليص الفرص الدبلوماسية. يجب أن يتوقف كل ذلك”.

ودعت الوزيرة كل الأطراف إلى “احترام وقف إطلاق النار والمشاركة في المفاوضات بحسن نية”.

وأعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب اتفاقاً لوقف إطلاق النار، ورغم ذلك الاتفاق الرسمي، تواصل إسرائيل شنّ هجمات شبه يومية على عشرات المراكز السكنية في جنوب لبنان، وتعزز سيطرتها النارية لحماية عدد من المستوطنات الحدودية. وردا على ذلك، يشنّ حزب الله اللبناني عمليات عسكرية ضد القوات الإسرائيلية.
