بعد التفجيرات … رومانيا تغرق 4 صنادل محملة بالصخور في نهر الدانوب 

سارعت رومانيا يوم الخميس إلى إغراق أربعة صنادل محملة بالصخور في نهر الدانوب، في محاولة لإعادة توجيه المياه باتجاه مجرى النهر نحو محطة للطاقة النووية، لكسب مزيد من الوقت قبل أن يجبر على الأرجح انخفاض منسوب المياه إلى مستويات قياسية مفاعلها الثاني على التوقف عن العمل.

وأدت موجات الحر الشديدة وانخفاض معدلات هطول الأمطار في أنحاء المنطقة إلى وصول منسوب نهر الدانوب إلى مستويات قياسية منخفضة خلال الأسبوع الماضي، مما اضطر السلطات إلى إيقاف تشغيل أحد مفاعلات محطة تشيرنافودا النووية في رومانيا الأسبوع الماضي.

وتوفر محطة الطاقة النووية المملوكة للدولة نحو 20% من إنتاج الكهرباء في البلاد عند تشغيلها بكامل طاقتها، وتعتمد على مياه النهر في تبريد مفاعلاتها.

وكانت الصنادل الأربعة محملة بصخور فجرها الجيش الروماني في قاع النهر هذا الأسبوع باستخدام متفجرات بالقرب من قناة بالا في نهر الدانوب.

وبمجرد غمرها، ستعمل الصنادل كحاجز تحت سطح الماء لتحويل مسار المياه إلى المجرى الرئيسي لنهر الدانوب، ومن ثم باتجاه محطة تشيرنافودا.

وقال مدير المحطة روميو أورجان، في تصريحات لقناة الأخبار المحلية “ديجي 24” اليوم الخميس، إن منسوب مياه نهر الدانوب انخفض بنحو سنتيمترين (7ر0 بوصة) من أمس الأربعاء إلى اليوم الخميس، وكان من المرجح أن يتعين إيقاف المفاعل الثاني في المحطة عن العمل خلال خمسة إلى ستة أيام إذا لم يتم إغراق الصنادل.
