بعد ضغوط إدارة ترامب… البنك الدولي يتخلى عن تخصيص 45 بالمئة من القروض لمشاريع تتعلق بالمناخ

أعلن البنك الدولي أنه سيتخلى عن هدفه السابق المتمثل في تخصيص 45 بالمئة من إجمالي قروضه السنوية للمشاريع التي تحقق فوائد مشتركة في مجال المناخ، ومدد خطة العمل بشأن تغير المناخ التي كان من المقرر أن تنتهي الثلاثاء. ويأتي هذا القرار بعدما تعرض البنك لضغوط من إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب للتراجع عن هدف التمويل المناخي الذي اعتمد خلال إدارة الرئيس السابق جو بايدن عام 2023.
