أوقفت سفينة سياحية أمريكية مخصصة للإقامة الدائمة رحلتها حول العالم في كمبوديا بسبب الارتفاع الحاد في تكاليف الوقود.
تسبب ارتفاع تكاليف الوقود من 1800 دولار إلى 8000 دولار شهريا في إجبار مئات الركاب على مغادرة منازلهم العائمة.
ضمت السفينة 203 ركاب من 15 جنسية مختلفة و156 فرداً من طاقم العمل قبل صدور قرار التعليق.
تعمل شركة فيلا في ريزيدنس على إعادة هيكلة أعمالها ودعم الركاب والطاقم بعد تعذر تحمل الخسائر التشغيلية.
