بعد 486 يوما.. الاتفاق يودّع الشهري

أعلن نادي الاتفاق، الأحد، رسميًا عن رحيل سعد الشهري، مدرب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، بعد نهاية عقده مع إسدال الستار على منافسات الموسم الرياضي المنتهي أخيرًا.
وودّع النادي الشرقي مدربه البالغ من العمر 46 عامًا عبر صفحته الرسمية في منصة «إكس»، إذ نشر «بوستر» تضمن صورًا للشهري خلال مباريات سابقة للفريق الاتفاقي، وأرفقه بعبارة: «اسم سيبقى حاضرًا في ذاكرة النادي.. شكرًا سعد الشهري».
ويأتي رحيل الشهري تأكيدًا لما أوردته «الرياضية» في 19 مايو الجاري، إذ عنونت: «الشهري يغادر الاتفاق.. والبدلاء 3»، وكتبت في سياق الخبر نقلًا عن مصادر خاصة: «تأكد رحيل المدرب السعودي سعد الشهري عن قيادة الدفة الفنية لفريق الاتفاق الأول لكرة القدم»، مضيفة أن الشهري سيخوض مباراته الأخيرة مع الاتفاق عندما يواجه الفريق الشرقي نظيره نيوم ضمن الجولة الختامية من دوري روشن السعودي.
وأمضى الشهري 486 يومًا على رأس الجهاز الفني لـ«النواخذة» وتحديدًا منذ 30 يناير 2025 حين استلم المهمة خلفًا للإنجليزي ستيفن جيرارد.
وأشرف سعد الشهري على الفريق الاتفاقي في 56 مباراة بمختلف المسابقات، وقاده إلى نصف نهائي دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية، الموسم قبل الماضي، الذي أنهاه في المركز السابع بدوري روشن السعودي، وهو ما كرره مع الفريق على صعيد الدوري خلال الموسم الماضي، الذي حل فيه سابعًا أيضًا.
