بنك التنمية للبلدان الأمريكية (IDB): 153 مليار دولار فجوة تمويل التنوع البيولوجي بأمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي

تحتاج منطقة أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي إلى تمويل سنوي قدره 170 مليار دولار للحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي واستعادة النظم الطبيعية.
تصل الفجوة التمويلية الحالية في المنطقة إلى 153 مليار دولار.
تتطلب سد هذه الفجوة تعزيز دور التمويل العام والخاص وتوجيه الاستثمارات نحو حماية رأس المال الطبيعي.
تضم المنطقة نحو 40% من التنوع البيولوجي العالمي وتعتمد قطاعاتها الإنتاجية على خدمات النظم الإيكولوجية.
