بنك مالايان الماليزي يستحوذ على حصة “أجياس” في “إيتيكا” للتأمين مقابل 1.2 مليار دولار

وافق بنك مالايان على شراء حصة الأقلية المملوكة لشركة أجياس البلجيكية إس إيه في شركة إيتيكا للتأمين، في خطوة قد تمنح البنك الماليزي ملكية كاملة لشركة إيتيكا للتأمين.

وذكرت وكالة بلومبرغ للأنباء أن بنك مالايان يعتزم شراء حصة تُقدر بـ 31% في شركة إيتيكا مملوكة لشركة أجياس مقابل 4.83 مليارات رينجيت (1.2 مليار دولار)، وفقًا لما جاء في بيان البنك اليوم الاثنين.

وقال المدير التنفيذي للبنك خير الصالح راملي في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم إنه من المقرر استكمال الصفقة خلال هذا الربع، بعد الحصول على موافقات الجهات التنظيمية.

ومن شأن هذه الصفقة أن تمنح البنك السيطرة الكاملة على إيتيكا، التي تقدم منتجات تأمينية في مناطق كثيرة بجنوب شرق آسيا.

كما أن هذه الصفقة ستمنح شركة أجياس الفرصة للحصول على أموال نقدية وربما ضخها في مناطق أخرى.
