تراجع أرباح “رايان إير” بسبب ارتفاع أسعار الوقود

تراجعت الأرباح الربعية لشركة “رايان إير” للطيران منخفض التكاليف بأكثر من الثلث بعدما تضاعف سعر وقود الطائرات بسبب الحرب في إيران وخفض الشركات لأسعار التذاكر لتعزيز الطلب.

وقالت الشركة، اليوم الاثنين، إن أرباحها تراجعت بنسبة 34% بعد حساب الضرائب لتصل إلى 538 مليون يورو “615.9 مليون دولار” خلال ثلاثة أشهر حتى يونيو الماضي.

وأوضحت أن الأرباح تضررت من ارتفاع أسعار وقود الطائرات بالنسبة لنحو 20% من احتياجاتها من الوقود غير المشمولة في عقود تثبيت الأسعار بالإضافة إلى انخفاض أسعار التذاكر بنسبة 6%، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الألمانية “د ب أ”.

وقد ارتفع عدد الركاب بنسبة 6% ليصل إلى 61.3 مليون شخص وإجمالي الإيرادات بنسبة 1% ليصل إلى 4.38 مليار يورو.

وقال المدير التنفيذي للشركة، مايكل أوليري، إن الشركة اتخذت خطوة خفض أسعار التذاكر “بعدما أدى الصراع بالشرق الأوسط إلى تردد العملاء ومخاوف بشأن نقص وقود الطائرات بالاتحاد الأوروبي وغموض اقتصادي وتأخر الحجوزات”.

وكانت أسعار وقود الطائرات قد تضاعفت إلى 150 دولاراً للبرميل خلال هذا الربع بعدما أدت الحرب في إيران لارتفاع أسعار النفط والغاز في ظل إغلاق مضيق هرمز، وأدى ذلك إلى ارتفاع التكاليف التشغيلية لدى شركة “رايان إير” بنسبة 11% لتصل إلى 3.42 مليار يورو.
