تراجع الزائرين الأجانب إلى اليابان 2% في النصف الأول

أظهرت بيانات حكومية اليوم الأربعاء انخفاض أعداد الزائرين الأجانب إلى اليابان بنسبة 2% مقارنة بالعام الماضي ليصل العدد إلى 21.1 مليون خلال أول ستة أشهر من العام الجاري، حيث انخفضت أعداد الزائرين القادمين من الصين بأكثر من النصف في ظل تدهور العلاقات بين الدولتين.

وذكرت وكالة “كيودو” اليابانية للأنباء أن أعداد المسافرين القادمين من الصين تراجع بنسبة 56.4% مقارنة بالعام الماضي ليصل إلى 2.06 مليون زائر، في حين ارتفع عدد الزائرين القادمين من كوريا الجنوبية وتايوان والولايات المتحدة خلال النصف الأول من العام، حسبما أظهرت بيانات “منظمة السياحة الوطنية اليابانية”.

ويشار إلى أنه في أعقاب تصريحات رئيسة وزراء اليابان ساناي تاكايشي في نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني الماضي بشأن احتمالية مشاركة اليابان في أي وضع طارئ يتعلق بتايوان، حثت الصين مواطنيها على تجنب السفر إلى اليابان.

وبلغ عدد الزائرين الأجانب خلال يونيو/حزيران الماضي فقط 3.15 مليون زائر، بانخفاض بنسبة 6.8% مقارنة بالعام الماضي، وفقاً لبيانات المنظمة.
