حذر باحثون من توجه الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب نحو المخاطرة في السياسة الخارجية بعد فقدانه السيطرة على الكونغرس.
قد يلجأ ترامب إلى القيام بهجمات دولية أو إجراءات عسكرية ضد إيران وكوبا بسبب شعوره بالحصار السياسي الداخلي.
يعد ترامب أول رئيس أمريكي في المئة عام الماضية يمر بفترة رئاسية ثانية غير مكتملة وممتدة لأكثر من عامين.
تفتقر سياسة ترامب الخارجية للبراعة والخبرة الإقليمية اللازمة لحل النزاعات المستعصية رغم سعيه لبناء سمعة كصانع سلام.
