تقرير: سواحل أوروبا تواجه خطر التآكل.. ومخاوف من خسائر تٌقدر بـ 800 مليار يورو سنويًا في هذا الملف

تواجه السواحل الأوروبية تهديداً متصاعداً بتآكل الشواطئ وارتفاع منسوب البحر مما قد يسبب خسائر اقتصادية تصل إلى 800 مليار يورو سنوياً بحلول نهاية القرن.
يدعو تقرير مجلس أوروبا إلى تبني استراتيجية الانسحاب المخطط عبر نقل المنازل والمنشآت والبنية التحتية من المناطق الساحلية المعرضة للخطر إلى مناطق داخلية أكثر أماناً.
تتضمن التوصيات تحديث خرائط المخاطر وفرض قيود على التنمية في المناطق المهددة مع إشراك المجتمعات المحلية في وضع خطط التكيف.
أشار التقرير إلى أن الحلول التقليدية كبناء الحواجز أصبحت أقل استدامة، مما يستوجب البحث عن حلول طويلة الأمد لحماية الأصول الاقتصادية والتراث الثقافي.

تواجه السواحل الأوروبية تهديدًا متصاعدًا بفعل ارتفاع مستوى سطح البحر وتآكل الشواطئ، وسط تحذيرات من أن الخسائر الاقتصادية الناجمة عن هذه الظاهرة، التي تتجاوز حاليًا مليار يورو سنويًا في 28 دولة أوروبية
