ثلاجات متاجر تتعرض لهجوم إلكتروني في عدد من الدول الأوروبية

تعرضت ثلاجات متاجر البقالة في سبع دول أوروبية لهجوم إلكتروني أدى لارتفاع مفاجئ في درجات حرارة وحدات التبريد.
أدت الهجمات إلى تلف كميات كبيرة من الأغذية واضطرار المتاجر للتخلص منها في بلجيكا وإستونيا وفنلندا وإيرلندا ولوكسمبورغ وهولندا والسويد.
استهدفت الهجمات أنظمة تبريد قديمة لم تعد تتلقى تحديثات برمجية أو أمنية مما جعلها أكثر عرضة للاختراق.
حذر مفوض الاتحاد الأوروبي لشؤون الغذاء والزراعة من أن استهداف الأمن الغذائي أصبح أمرا واقعا ويتطلب اهتماما أكبر.

أكدت مجموعة من متاجر البقالة في أوروبا الإثنين تعرض ثلاجاتها لهجوم إلكتروني مع الارتفاع المفاجئ لدرجة الحرارة في وحدات التبريد التي تستخدمها. وكانت فرنسا هدفا لهجمات مماثلة قبل ثلاثة أسابيع. وحذر مفوض الاتحاد الأوروبي لشؤون الغذاء والزراعة كريستوف هانسن في وقت سابق من أن الأمن الغذائي “يتطلب اهتماما أكبر على كل المستويات”، وأن استهدافه أصبح أمرا واقعا.
