جنوب أفريقيا تفاجئ كوريا الجنوبية وتخطف ورقة التأهل

تأهلت جنوب أفريقيا إلى مراحل خروج المغلوب في كأس العالم لكرة القدم للمرة الأولى في وقت مبكر من يوم الخميس، عندما سجل ثابيلو ماسيكو هدفاً في الشوط الثاني ليمنح فريقه الفوز 1-صفر على كوريا الجنوبية، التي لا تزال قادرة على التأهل كواحدة من أفضل الفرق صاحبة المركز الثالث.

وسدد ماسيكو الكرة في الزاوية السفلية للمرمى في الدقيقة 63 ليضع جنوب أفريقيا، التي ستواجه كندا، وهي واحدة من ثلاث دول مضيفة للبطولة، في لوس أنجلوس يوم 28 يونيو، بأربع نقاط خلف المكسيك المتصدرة للمجموعة الأولى برصيد تسع نقاط بعد فوزها 3-صفر على التشيك في نفس التوقيت.

أما كوريا الجنوبية فلديها ثلاث نقاط.

وكانت جنوب أفريقيا قد فشلت في تجاوز دور المجموعات في مشاركاتها الثلاث الأولى في كأس العالم في أعوام 1998 و2002 و2010.
