يتطلب انضمام صحفيي المواقع الإلكترونية لنقابة الصحفيين تفسيراً قانونياً واضحاً وضوابط مهنية ومؤسسية محددة.
يجب أن تتساوى الضوابط المفروضة على المواقع الإلكترونية مع المعايير المطبقة حالياً على الصحف المطبوعة.
تعد الجمعية العمومية للنقابة هي الجهة صاحبة القرار النهائي في إقرار الضوابط المنظمة لملف عضوية الصحفيين بالمواقع الإلكترونية.
تشهد انتخابات نقابة الصحفيين الفرعية بالإسكندرية إقبالاً كبيراً وتنافساً شريفاً بين المرشحين في أجواء إيجابية.

أكد حسين الزناتي، عضو مجلس نقابة الصحفيين ورئيس لجنة القيد، أن انتخابات نقابة الصحفيين الفرعية بالإسكندرية تشهد إقبالًا كثيفًا من أعضاء الجمعية العمومية، وسط أجواء إيجابية يسودها الود والمحبة والتنافس الشريف بين الزملاء المرشحين، مشيرًا إلى أن الانتخابات تمثل مسؤولية كبيرة في ظل التحديات التي تواجه المهنة والعاملين بها. وقال الزناتي، في تصريحات صحفية لموقع.
