خبير مناخ: 84% من الشعاب المرجانية في العالم تتعرض للإجهاد الحراري

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

تعرض أكثر من 84% من الشعاب المرجانية حول العالم للإجهاد الحراري نتيجة ارتفاع درجات الحرارة العالمية.
سجلت الشعاب المرجانية أكبر موجة ابيضاض عالمية خلال الفترة من عام 2023 حتى 2025.
تتطلب هذه الظاهرة تحركا عاجلا من الحكومات للحد من تداعياتها وحماية التنوع البيولوجي البحري.
تعد حماية الكائنات البحرية ركيزة أساسية لمعيشة أكثر من مليار شخص حول العالم.

حذر الدكتور عادل بن يوسف خبير التغير المناخي، من التداعيات الخطيرة لارتفاع درجات الحرارة العالمية على الشعاب المرجانية والتنوع البيولوجي البحري، مشيرًا إلى أن أكثر من 84% من الشعاب المرجانية حول العالم تعرضت للإجهاد الحراري، في ظل أكبر موجة ابيضاض عالمية مسجلة خلال الفترة من 2023 إلى 2025.
