توسع نطاق التصعيد العسكري في اليمن ليشمل الجو والبر والبحر بين القوات الحكومية وجماعة الحوثي.
سجلت المنظمة العالمية للصحة سقوط 959 قتيلاً و4207 جرحى ونزوح نحو 198 ألف شخص منذ أغسطس الماضي.
تشهد محافظات تعز والحديدة ومأرب والجوف مواجهات ميدانية عنيفة وتغيرات في السيطرة على المناطق الاستراتيجية.
تعد جولة الحرب الحالية من الأعنف بعد فشل الجهود الدبلوماسية والهدنة التي استمرت أربع سنوات.

اشتعلت خطوط التماس في المحافظات بين القوات الحكومية اليمنية والحوثيين، في حين وصلت الهجمات إلى مناطق في عمق سيطرة كل طرف، بينما لا تزال 4 محافظات من أصل 22 محافظة بعيدة عن شرارة التصعيد العسكري.
