خشية نقص العوائد المالية… الكاف يتراجع عن تنظيم كأس أمم أفريقيا كل أربعة أعوام

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

قررت اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم العودة لتنظيم كأس الأمم الأفريقية كل عامين بدلا من كل أربع سنوات.
جاء هذا القرار لتفادي نقص العوائد المالية اللازمة لتطوير كرة القدم في القارة نتيجة تأخر إطلاق دوري الأمم الأفريقية.
ستقام النسخ القادمة من البطولة في أعوام 2028 و2031 و2033 مع مراعاة عدم تزامنها مع كأس العالم.
لا يزال مصير لقب نسخة 2025 معلقا بانتظار قرار محكمة التحكيم الرياضي بشأن طعن المنتخب السنغالي.

أعلن الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف)، الجمعة، أن لجنته التنفيذية قررت “بالإجماع” العودة إلى تنظيم نهائيات كأس الأمم الأفريقية كل عامين، بعدما كان قد اتخذ قراراً سابقاً بإقامة البطولة مرة كل أربع سنوات. ويأتي هذا التراجع في أعقاب مخاوف من أن يؤخر إطلاق المسابقة القارية الجديدة المقترحة “دوري الأمم الأفريقية” توفير العوائد المالية الضرورية لتطوير اللعبة في القارة، بحسب رئيس الاتحاد باتريس موتسيبي.
