فاز لويس إيناسيو لولا دا سيلفا بولاية رئاسية رابعة في البرازيل بعد حصوله على 51.79 بالمئة من الأصوات في الجولة الثانية.
أصبح دا سيلفا أول مرشح رئاسي يقلب نتيجة الجولة الأولى ويتفوق على منافسه منذ عام 1989.
بدأ دا سيلفا مسيرته كعامل في مصنع قبل أن يمر بمحطات سياسية شملت السجن والعودة إلى السلطة.
تضمنت حملته الانتخابية قضايا تكاليف المعيشة والأمن والفساد والسياسة الخارجية والعلاقات مع إدارة ترامب.
