أكد الرئيس البوروندي، إيفاريست ندايشيميي، رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي، تطلع دول الاتحاد لتعزيز التعاون مع روسيا في مختلف المجالات، مشيرًا إلى حرصها على تحويل الشراكة مع روسيا إلى مشروعات ملموسة. وقال «ندايشيميي» في كلمته خلال الجلسة العامة الأولى لقمة «روسيا – أفريقيا» الثالثة: «روسيا كانت شريكتنا في مكافحة الفقر والتصدي لكافة المشكلات الأخرى»، مشددا على وجود.
