رئيس البرلمان يستقيل في السنغال

استقال رئيس البرلمان السنغالي مالك نداي، اليوم الأحد، ليصبح أحدث مسؤول بارز يطاله الانقسام المتصاعد داخل الحركة الحاكمة في البلاد.

ونقلت وكالة بلومبرغ للأنباء عن بيان صادر عن المكتب الإعلامي لرئيس البرلمان المستقيل القول إن نداي، وهو حليف قديم لرئيس الوزراء المقال عثمان سونكو، قدّم استقالته عقب اجتماع عاجل لمكتب الجمعية الوطنية.

وقال نداي في البيان: “في لحظات المحن الوطنية، تكون هناك أوقات تقتضي فيها مصلحة البلاد تقديم الواجب والحكمة والمصلحة العليا للأمة فوق كل اعتبار”.

وكان نداي، البالغ من العمر 43 عاما، قد تولى رئاسة البرلمان منذ أواخر عام 2024، عندما حقق حزب “باستيف” الحاكم بقيادة سونكو أغلبية ساحقة بحصوله على 135 مقعدا في الانتخابات التشريعية.

وتأتي استقالته بعد أيام فقط من إقالة الرئيس السنغالي باسيرو ديوماي فاي لرئيس الوزراء عثمان سونكو، وسط تصاعد التوترات بين الرجلين بشأن توجهات الحكومة والسياسات الاقتصادية.
