رئيس الوزراء العراقي يبحث مع القائم بأعمال السفارة الأميركية العلاقات الثنائية والأمن الإقليمي

استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزاء العراقي علي الزيدي، اليوم الأحد، القائم بأعمال سفارة الولايات المتحدة لدى العراق جوشوا هاريس، حيث جرى بحث آفاق التعاون بين البلدين، وسبل تطوير العلاقات وتوسعتها في جميع المجالات، ولاسيما الاقتصادية والاستثمارية والثقافية، على أساس الاحترام المتبادل والمصالح المشتركة، وبما يسهم في خدمة مصلحة الشعبين الصديقين، بحسب المكتب الإعلامي لرئيس مجلس الوزراء.

وأشار الزيدي إلى ضرورة التواصل البناء بين البلدين، وإدامة العمل المشترك في إطار اتفاقية الإطار الستراتيجي ومذكرات التفاهم الثنائية، إلى جانب التأكيد على التزام الجانبين بتعزيز الشراكة والتنسيق إزاء مختلف القضايا الثنائية والإقليمية، والعمل على تغليب لغة الحوار والديبلوماسية في حلّ النزاعات وفرض الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي فالح الزيدي يترأس الجلسة الاعتيادية الثانية لمجلس الوزراء في 19 ايار 2026 (رئاسة الوزراء العراقية).

من جانبه، أعرب القائم بالأعمال الأميركي عن تقدير بلاده لمساعي العراق بتعزيز الشراكات الثنائية وبمختلف المجالات، مشيداً بدوره المحوري ومساعيه الداعمة لفرض الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.
