“زين” الكويتية تقتنص رخصة تشغيل المحمول في سوريا بـ 1.5 مليار دولار


تستعد شركة زين الكويت لاستثمار أكثر من 1.5 مليار دولار في سوريا، بعد فوزها بحقوق تشغيل شبكة للهاتف المحمول في البلاد، في واحدة من أكبر الاستثمارات الأجنبية في البلاد.

وحسب ما ذكرته وكالتا “بلومبرغ” و”رويترز” نقلا عن مصادر، ستدفع زين نحو 747 مليون دولار مقابل الرخصة، بينما يخصص المشغل الجديد حوالي 800 مليون دولار لتوسيع وتحديث البنية التحتية للاتصالات، بما يشمل إدخال خدمات الجيل الخامس.

ومن المقرر أن تحتفظ الحكومة السورية بحصة تبلغ 25% في الرخصة أو الكيان المشغل.

وتأتي الصفقة في إطار مساعي الحكومة السورية الجديدة لجذب رؤوس أموال أجنبية لإعادة الإعمار، بعد تخفيف معظم العقوبات الأميركية، وسط اهتمام متزايد من دول خليجية وغربية بالاستثمار في سوريا.
