كشف المستشار محمد شيرين فهمي تفاصيل التحقيقات في قضية التنصت على مكتب النائب العام عام 2014.
ضمت أجهزة التنصت كاميرات مخفية وأجهزة تسجيل صغيرة الحجم كانت موزعة في أركان المكتب ومخبأة بين الكتب.
أظهرت التحقيقات علم بعض العاملين بوجود الأجهزة بينما لم يكن آخرون على دراية بها.
أكد النائب العام السابق طلعت إبراهيم عبد الله علمه بالأجهزة مبرراً ذلك بضرورة تأمين المكتب ضد الاعتداءات.
