أكد الرئيس السيسي أن مياه النيل حق للجميع ولا يجوز استخدامها لأغراض سياسية.
شدد الرئيس على أهمية التعاون القائم على القانون الدولي والتشاور لتحقيق التنمية والاستقرار لدول حوض النيل.
أوضح السيسي أن مصر تعتمد على نهر النيل في توفير أكثر من 98% من مواردها المائية المتجددة.
أشار الرئيس إلى جهود مصر في دعم التعاون المائي على المستويين الأفريقي والعربي وتطوير البنية الأساسية.

أكد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي أن مصر تتمسك بحماية حصتها من مياه نهر النيل، باعتبارها المورد الرئيسي للمياه في البلاد، مشددًا على أن المياه حق للجميع ولا يجوز استغلالها لأغراض سياسية، وأن التعاون القائم على احترام القانون الدولي والتشاور والتنسيق يمثل السبيل الأمثل لتحقيق التنمية والاستقرار لشعوب دول
