تستهدف القمة مناقشة سبل تطوير العلاقات السياسية والاقتصادية والتجارية وتعاون في مجالات الطاقة والاستثمار والبنية التحتية.
تأتي مشاركة الرئيس السيسي لتعزيز العلاقات مع موسكو ودعم أطر التعاون بين روسيا والدول الأفريقية بما يحقق المصالح المشتركة.
شارك الرئيس السيسي في نسختين سابقتين من القمة الروسية الأفريقية في عامي 2019 و2023.
