  • خسر نتنياهو الانتخابات وفق الأرقام غير الرسمية لعدم قدرة ائتلافه على تجاوز حاجز الخمسين مقعدا.
  • حظي حزب يشار بزعامة آيزنكوت بأغلبية تسمح له بتشكيل حكومة أقلية بدعم من القائمة الموحدة.
  • شهدت الانتخابات إقبالا تاريخيا غير مسبوق وتصويتا عربيا واسعا أدى لحصول العرب على 18 مقعدا.
  • أدت حالة الاستقطاب الحاد إلى عدم تمكن أي طرف من تشكيل حكومة منفردة أو إزاحة الحكومة الحالية بقوة ذاتية.
